Rock Festival Poster Design

This "Rock Festival" poster design was finished in 2019 while I attended the New York Institute of Art and Design. The assignment was to design an illustrative poster design for a rock festival using different hues, at least one stroke, one fill, utilizing the shape tool in Adobe Illustrator and achieving unity within the design.

For this design I drew a guitar pick as the main element in the design. The complimentary elements such as the musical notes, stars and guitar pick have an edgy style outline to mimic the font style chosen on the header. I imagined this poster being posted in various areas near the event location.

The final poster illustration and design was created in Adobe Illustrator. The billboard and poster mock-ups were created in Adobe Photoshop.
